SHRAB Community Grant Opportunity

The Idaho State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB) announced today that community grants are available for the identification, protection, preservation, digitalization, and increased public access to historical records.

The Idaho SHRAB is accepting applications for community grants funded by the National Historical Publications and Records Commission. Grants will be awarded to qualifying institutions and organizations to improve public access to historical materials, help organizations adopt standard archival practices, and increase the public’s awareness and appreciation of the archival community.

The Idaho SHRAB is an advocate for the creation, preservation, dissemination and use of information that accurately chronicles the people and institutions of Idaho, both public and private. Community grants are intended to identify, inventory, and index historical records throughout the state, and facilitate their protection, conservation, and preservation for the future generations of Idaho.

Funds are limited. Follow this link for additional information and contact information.

The submission deadline is June 30.
